Police in Louisiana say they are looking into a “suspicious death” after discovering a corpse in a walk-in freezer at an Arby’s restaurant in New Iberia.

According to KADN, the female victim was a worker at the eatery on E. Admiral Doyle Drive, according to the New Iberia Police Department. Her cause of death hasn’t been established yet.

Accordingly, an employee of the restaurant discovered the deceased girl inside the cooler, according to New Iberia Police Capt. Leland Laseter, who also told the local station that the deceased was a restaurant employee.

Laseter stated that although the death is suspicious and foul play is not anticipated, it may have been an accident.

Nothing is finalised yet, according to Laseter.

According to the police captain, “A situation like this is unusual, so we’re taking extra precautions during the investigation.” “(We) have very well finished our investigation at the crime scene. After thoroughly examining the crime scene, it seems that this was an accident rather than a killing.
